Clinics & Services
The Practice has clinics for the following conditions. Please make an appointment at the Medical Centre.
The diabetes clinics are run by our specialist nurses with Dr Mehta, who is our lead GP for diabetes care. It is important for the diabetic team to assess and monitor you and to enable us to do that we need to have your blood results before we see you.It is also helpful if you ensure that you have had your Diabetic Retinopathy eye check within the last 12 months. If you suspect that you may have diabetes, please book an appointment for a health check with one of the practice nurses.
Asthma & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Coronary Heart Disease
Blood Pressure Monitoring
If you would like to have your blood pressure checked you can ask for this to be done when you attend the Practice to see a GP or Nurse, alternatively you can make an appointment with our Health Care Assistant for a Blood Pressure Check.
A surgery based anti-coagulation service is available to enable patients taking warfarin to be tested and monitored in-house instead of going to the hospital. Clinics are on Monday afternoons under the supervision of Dr. Ochola. We can also offer this service on other days of the week – please ask at Reception for more information.
Women’s Health and Gynaecology
The Practice can offer appointments with several female GPs. We have a dedicated Contraception (coils and implants) Clinic on Wednesday afternoons.
